FOR GOALIES AND GOALIE COACHES


Blackfoot Hockey association is committed to enhancing the goalie experience for all players who choose to stand in front of pucks (why goalies do that...I don't know!)

We have provided information for goaltenders and coaches that can be used in practices to improve their skills - both goalies and coaches.

 2010-2011 GOALIE CLINICS
As part of our commitment to providing better goalie development
opportunities for Blackfoot's goalies, we will have a number of  Goalie Development ice times scheduled.

ALL TEAMS: Please make every effort to have your GOALIES and 2 shooters for the sessions.  It is strongly encouraged that you also send your GOALIE COACH as there are plenty of tips and advice provided to help them with their role.  We will be tracking attendance and asking for feedback after each session.

These clinics must be well attended and considered valuable by the participants for us to continue to provide this valuable service to our goalie members. So please participate and provide your input!



GOALIE "COACHES" CLINIC DATES - 2010-2011 season

Saturday October the 16th 2010

8:00am to 9:15am  Initial Discussion
9:15 to 9:30am  Coaches locker room talk
9:30 to 10:30am  ON ICE

10:45 to 11:45  LUNCH and open forum

12:00 to 1:00 pm  ON ICE  
1:30 to 2:30 (wrap up discussion)


These ice times have been set aside for goalie selection for the 2010-2011 season.
Once all goalies are registered they will be assigned an ice time for team selection. This goalie selection process is separate from the "Team Selection" process for skaters.
